"The Grenville Co-operative Credit Union Limited had its rebirth on 15th November 1984 with less than 200 members and assets of $56 thousand dollars. After 25 years membership was about 8,000 with assets of over $26 million dollars. Our membership extends to home and abroad. Creativity and adaptability are among the strong principles of the Grenville Co-operative Credit Union and these are ensuring its success in this ever changing financial landscape.
We have a major role to play in improving the lives of the farmers, craftmen, artisans, fisher folks and small business people who may be otherwise ignored. We are the backbone of the rural economy."
